How are silicone hoses and tubing measured?

Some silicone hoses are sold as an "Each" item, and others have a "by length" option. On items with length options, please pay careful attention to the unit of measurement, as some items will be sold "Per Inch" and others will be sold "Per Foot." Elbow leg-lengths are always measured from the center line radius.

Is there an industry specification that is applicable to silicone hoses?

Yes, our industry standard is SAE J20 Class A. Our finished silicone tubes, flex hoses, and raw materials are regularly tested to ensure complete compliance. Please contact our engineering department with any technical or specification-related questions.

What are the temperature ranges of silicone hoses and attachments?

It depends on the reinforcing fabrics within the silicone hoses. Standard polyester will handle -65F through 350F continuously, while our premium Nomex fabrics are suitable for temperature requirements as high as 500F. Please contact our engineering department for additional details about our performance silicone hoses.

Are silicone hoses compatible with oil and fuel?

No, our standard silicone hoses are not suitable for use with oil or fuel. However, we do offer special fluorocarbon and fluoro silicone liners that provide superior chemical resistance. Please contact our engineering department for more details and support in designing a chemical-resistant product to meet your specific requirements.

What are my delivery options?

Most orders will default to UPS Ground. This is the quickest and most cost-effective way to ship your order. If expedited shipping is required, please select the required service from the drop-down menu. All shipping costs are real-time.

What are your normal business hours?

Our normal business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm PST.

What is required to build a custom silicone hose?

Our Design and Engineering department prefers to receive CAD drawings or PDF files on all new design work. If drawing or design assistance is required, please contact our Engineering Department for support. In some cases, we are also able to work from your "Mock Up" or "Physical Sample." What are the terms of your warranty?

All web sales are final; exchanges for misordered colors or sizes will not be accepted. Please double-check your order before finalizing the sale. If you have received a product in error, please contact Customer Service for exchange details.

Flex Technologies-approved silicone hose clamps must be purchased and used in the installation of our High-Quality Silicone Hose. The use of unapproved hose clamps will void the warranty.

What are your Warranty, Remedy, and Liability Policies?

Warranty; Limited Remedy; Limited Liability.

Flex Technologies products will be free from defects in material and manufacture at the time of purchase. Flex Technologies makes no other warranties including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. If the product is defective, your exclusive remedy shall be at Flex Technologies, with the option to replace the product or refund the purchase price. Additionally, Flex Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of Flex Technologies products, regardless of the legal theory asserted.

Origin Restrictions

Flex Technologies Incorporated manufactures its high-performance products in ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certified plants within the U.S.A and abroad. Origin restrictions must be identified in writing at the time that the order is placed. Products with USA origin restrictions are our specialty; please call for details. Orders placed without special restrictions or notes may contain products from either of our two manufacturing locations. All products shipped are fully certified in our ISO compliant test lab located in Southern California. Please contact our sales department for additional details.

What are my color options?

Standard colors for silicone hoses and tubing are blue, red, or black. Custom colors are available by special order and some minimums may apply. Please call for details.
